We are working to change systems, policy and practice – to develop sustainable, national systems that keep victims safe by responding more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse:
Through our National Systems Change programme we identify systemic gaps and bring together the insights of survivors, service users, practitioners, specialist organisations, researchers and policy makers to build solutions. We are currently focusing on improving the response to domestic abuse in children’s social care and housing settings, alongside developing new responses to meet the needs of minoritised and marginalised communities.
Through our Policy, Public Affairs and Communications work we convene partners to share learning, best practice and advocate for improved policy responses to those causing harm. We convene the Action on Perpetrators Network and support the work of the Domestic Abuse Commissioner’s Strategic Reference Group on Perpetrators. We are also campaigning for a strengthened response to perpetrators of domestic abuse through A Call for Further Action.
